Spent 4 night at Homewood Suites with friends after returning from Dubai. The staff were extremely friendly, the rooms were very spacious and clean. I stayed in a one bedroom suite which was absolutely great. The breakfast was really good which shocked us all because we were not expecting much but the offering was quite good. I was shocked by how quite the rooms were despite planes flying over frequently. Lots of parking space and the location is very close to all the shopping malls and restaurants. In our final night we barbecued steaks by the pool. I would recommend this hotel because it’s great.

Hotel was awesome with larger sized room. Powerful shower was a plus. Very friendly staff. King sized bed was very comfortable. Overall great experience.

The entire hotel needs to be cleaned, updated and refreshed. The inside of the lobby is very dark and hard to see. The pool hasn't been maintained and doesn't look inviting. Also, you need a car to be able to visit restaurants, although fast food options are near by.

Overall not a bad hotel. It is directly under the RW12 approach path into MIA, so expect a moderate amount of aircraft noise during the busy arrival times. Suite rooms are decent with kitchenette. Shower is very dated. Biggest negatives lie with the staff and their behavior. Housekeeping uses the bare door latch to keep the room doors from closing, so there is a loud thud every time they allow the door to slam closed. There is a large amount of feral cats around, mainly due to the fact that the staff routinely puts small bowls of food outside the exits so the cats stay around to eat their goodies.

My company had a few of us stay about a year at this location. I had several items stolen including a truck.. we Had several company trucks broken into, tools lifted. Another truck had a catalytic converter stolen. A trailer was taken right off a vehicle. All different instances over a period of time. Security is a massive issue at this location.
